Supporting the Pagan Family

Presented live by Donna Conrad

8 Week Course

The term "Pagan Parenting" leads to so many misconceptions regarding what this topic is truly about. People always think it is merely about how to include your children in your religious practices; but it encompasses so much more than that.

This subject involves everyone who is active within their local Pagan community.

Why???

Because today, Pagans are raising their children in their religion, inlcuding them in their practice and attending events with them. Modern Paganism has reached an era of 2nd generation Pagans. This is a fabulous thing that should be encouraged. Children are our future and need all the nurture and support we can give them.

If you are attending public community events, whether as a participant or as a leader, or just belong to a coven, you are eventually going to be around Pagan children. You should atleast have an idea of how to interact with and encourage them in a positive way.

I am a firm believer that it takes a village to raise a child, and this course has been developed with that exact mindset.  Each topic will be addressed from three perspectives:

1) Pagan Parents

2) Pagan Non-Parents in a community environment.

3) Pagan Community Leaders/Clergy
